This is a fully staffed Villa located in the small village of Mezzegra .
It was built in 1901 by an American Admiral , totally reconstructed in 2005 and sleekly refurbished in 2019.
The interior designer’s creative style, which they term ‘evergreen’, features American and Italian works from 1950’s to 2000. Guests will be living with masterpieces by Lloyd Wright, Philip Johnson and Van der Rohe. Furniture includes pieces by Cassina, Vitra and Moroso made in Brianza , the design district area between Lake Como and Milan . Artworks include significant sculptures by Bijan Bassirith, the most important Iranian artist and a leading light at the Venice Biennale.
Today the villa is known as a gallery of design on the lake.
The main Villa has 9 double bedrooms all flooded with sunlight, with large windows overlooking the lake and the garden ; all rooms are complemented by beautiful bathrooms with live colors and a truly iconic style.
Rooms are set over four floors, all accessible with a private lift and all with A/C .
On the garden floor you can find 100 sqm fully-equipped kitchen, a large corridor to the indoor heated pool with direct access to the garden, al-fresco terrace and pergola, indoor dining rooms, gym, changing room next to the gym equipped with hair dryer and towels and shower.
A garden cottage with double bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette is available by outdoor pool with spectacular view on the mountains and the lake .
