Villa Sardagna is a wonderful villa located on the eastern shore of Lake Como in the municipality of Blevio, right in front of the village of Cernobbio; it enjoys a breathtaking view of the lake and important villas such as Villa D'Este, Villa Pizzo and Villa Erba.
Villa Sardagna dates back to the 18th century. It takes its name from the noble Sardagna family. It was built after the marriage between Countess Calvi and Baron Sardagna at the end of the nineteenth century, and became their main residence.
Result of a twenty-year renovation that led to the absolute perfection of all the details; The owner went in search, throughout Italy and beyond, of antique furniture, of floors, of thresholds, of priceless details, creating a result that is a versatile but harmonious mix of authentic and original pieces, expertly mixed with personal style; worthy of particular note is the rare Bluthner piano of 1865 that you can find in the living room of side A of the main villa .
The property has two entrances, a driveway where we find the parking lot that can accommodate 4 cars and a pedestrian in the lowest part near the lake.
The main villa consists of two parts each of which has its own independent entrance: one near the swimming pool (A side) and the other near the pedestrian entrance driveway (B side).
Side A: on the ground floor there is a large entrance hall, a bathroom with shower, a large living room with French doors that open onto the park, a laundry area.
Going up the stairs we find the kitchen with a rear window that takes us to a side terrace with lake view and swimming pool with garden furniture, the dining room is lake front.
On the second floor we find, a small furnished living room, the master bedroom with bathroom inside with a whirlpool tub.
On the third and last floor, we find a large living room with double sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom; a small well terrace is located in the middle of the staircase and makes us enjoy a beautiful lake view.
Side B: entrance, living room, small service bathroom, and technical room On the ground floor.
Going up the stairs we find dining room and second living room, kitchen (not useable by customers). On the second floor we find a bedroom with an external bathroom, and a suite with an en suite bathroom.
Note the fact that only the rooms in Part A are air-conditioned.
The 20-year project included not only the building itself, but also the surrounding park. The various species of plants that enrich the garden that has a square footage of about 1,600 square metres are wonderful and perfectly maintained.
